WATCH: First Glimpse of New DC Universe Series Titans

At San Diego Comic-Con, audiences got a first glimpse of upcoming series Titans. The show will focus on Batman’s sidekick Robin creating a supergroup called The Titans to save the world.

Developed by Arrow and The Flash producer Greg Berlanti and Batman and Robin writer Akiva Goldsman, Brendon Thwaites will star as Robin. The series will see him team with other DC characters Raven, Starfire and Beast Boy.

The trailer for the series is available to watch below and features one funny reference to The Dark Knight.

DC Universe is expected to launch later this year. According to Deadline, the service will include the four Christopher Reeve Superman films, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, animated television series Batman: The Animated Series, Static Shock, Young Justice, Teen Titans, live-action television series Lois & Clark and Wonder Woman, and animated films including Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, Green Lantern: First Flight, and Wonder Woman.

These will then be followed by original live action series Swamp Thing, Doom Patrol and Stargirl.
