Seafoam Green Announce September Dates
Roots Rockers Return To The Road
Rock and rollers Seafoam Green, led by Liverpool-based Inchicore-bred hairball Dave O'Grady, are planning an eight-stop tour around the country in September. The 'Green first came to public attention with 2016's masterpiece of a debut, Topanga Mansion, a marvel of a record that was put together with former Black Crowe Rich Robinson. The band are currently working on a follow-up, with the help of Tedeschi Trucks Band man Tyler 'Falcon' Greenwell. O'Grady and vocalist Muireann McDermott Long did play some acoustic shows here last year, but this promises to be an altogether more electric affair.
Stick the following September numbers in your "book":
18th The Granary, Limerick
19th The Dunes, Sligo
20th Mullarkey's, Clifden (Clifden Arts Festival)
21st The Greyhound Bar, Kilkee
22nd Brian Boru, Cashel
23rd Rósín Dubh, Galway
25th The Workmans Club, Dublin
27th The American Bar, Belfast
Here's Dave talking to some eejit he ran into the last time he was in town
And do yourself a favour and have a listen to this excellent album, which we reviewed a while back.
