Premiere: WOB! shares Odyssey inspired album Nostos, announces live stream
The electronic album sees WOB! traversing an ever-changing sea of genres.
Hot Press is proud to premiere Nostos, the debut album from Serbian Irish producer WOB!. Nostos has an epic aura about it – perhaps because it was inspired by Homer's epic poem The Odyssey.
“This album came from my own three year long, soul-searching, home-seeking mission – which was also a time in my life when I starting really honing my craft as a producer,” says WOB! of producing the album. WOB! has a passion for discovering and working with new artists, and the album features Irish singer-songwriter Eoin Martin, poet Sarah O'Connor, and Bristol musician Gins.
“The making of this album felt at times to be a metaphysical experience," WOB! says. "I’ve certainly encountered angels and demons a long the way, along with Sirens and other strange creatures.”
WOB! will be taking part in a live stream tonight at 7pm, which is supported by FlutterTone and will take place in Dublin's The Grand Social. The stream will be available to access via FlutterTone and the Grand Social Facebook pages.
