Paul Rudd to Play Dual Role in New Netflix Series
After appearances in Netflix films The Fundamentals of Caring and Mute, as well as a role in Wet Hot American Summer, Paul Rudd will star in a new series from the streaming service.
The Ant-Man will play the lead in eight part show Living With Yourself about a man struggling with his life who undergoes a novel treatment to become a better person. However, he finds he’s been replaced by a new and improved version (also Rudd) - revealing that his own worst enemy is himself.
The series is the creation of Emmy and Peabody Award-winner Timothy Greenberg (The Daily Show with Jon Stewart). Filmmaking duo Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris (the Oscar-nominated Little Miss Sunshine, Battle of the Sexes) will be on directing duties.
Paul Rudd is currently starring in Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp which he also co-wrote. The film has grossed $430 million at the global box office and will open in China, Japan and other markets later this month.
He will also appear in the as of yet untitled Avengers 4.
