Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth break up after 8 months of marriage
Is it forever this time?
Here goes the next celebrity marriage... Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth announce their split after they tied the knot in December of last year. Cyrus's management confirmed the news on Saturday.
"Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what's best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy", the statement given to People reads.
The singer and the actor met on the set of the romance movie The Last Song in 2009, hitting it off immediately. Since then, they were on-and-off for years until they married in a private ceremony in Nashville on December 23, 2018.
Yesterday, Cyrus posted pictures from her vacation trip, indirectly addressing the current change in her (love) life: "Don’t fight evolution, because you will never win. Like the mountain I am standing on top of, which was once under water, connected with Africa, change is inevitable. The Dolomites were not created over night, it was over millions of years that this magnificent beauty was formed."
She continues: "My dad always told me 'Nature never hurries but it is always on time'... it fills my heart with peace and hope KNOWING that is true. I was taught to respect the planet and its process and I am committed to doing the same with my own".
Miley Cyrus recently released the EP She Is Coming as part of a 3-EP-project.
