The Mary Wallopers announce headline gig at Whelan's
Check out their performance of 'Cod Liver Oil and The Orange Juice' on the Tommy Tiernan show on RTÉ below.
You might know these Dundalk natives as Hot Press 'Hot for 2020' contenders TPM–the rap group known for their tongue-in-cheek anti-anthems like 'All The Boys on the Dole' and 'Eat That Curry'.
As it happens, they also play in a folk group called The Mary Wallopers, reinterpreting classic and rare Irish folk songs and breathing new life into traditional music. Their April 24th Whelan's headline show comes on the heels of a stunning performance on the Tommy Tiernan show.
Tickets for the show are on sale now.
