All Female Comedy Line-Up Added to Electric Picnic
The night was curated by Emily O'Callaghan who runs the Comedy Gold Club in Dublin's Button Factory.
Electric Picnic 2018 will host a night featuring an all-female comedy line up on The Hazel Wood stage tomorrow night, Thursday 30th August.
Not only is this the first time the festival is running this stage, but it’s also the first time in the festival’s history that a stage will be open on Thursday night. An estimated 5,000 early entry campers arrive that day before the festival opens its gates on Friday. This very special comedy stage will give a platform to some of the country’s acts, while providing great entertainment to these early campers.
The line-up includes; Joanne McNally MC, Aoife Dooley, Aine Gallagher, Pauline Shanahan, Eve Darcy, Ashlee Bentley, Blaithin de Burca, Aoife O'Connor, Christina McMahon, Orla O'Doherty Brown, Fiona Frawley, Grace Mulvey, Ruth Hunter and Laura Byrne.
The evening will commence at 7 pm with a DJ set and the comedy kicking off at 8pm.
