The sessions will feature three Irish veterans of acting and drama
The Dice Players Theatre Company is set to host an expert-led, one-day acting workshop in Palmerstown Parish Hall on June 7
Taking place from 10am to 6:30pm, attendees will get to dive into dynamic sessions led by leading figures of drama in Ireland.
Cathal Quinn, one of the country’s most in-demand voice coaches and the current Head of Voice and Speech in The Lir Academy at Trinity College, will guide you through voice and script analysis.
Also taking part is award-winning writer and director David Horan, the current Artistic Director at the famous Bewley’s Café Theatre. He will host a session introducing the Stanislavski technique, a method that focuses on encouraging actors to create believable performances by drawing on their own personal experiences.
Finally, Rooney Prize-winning director Peter Sherdian, former writer-in-residence at the Abbey Theatre and writer of the pilot episode of Fair City, is set to lead a session on directing.
The cost is €120, with lunch being provided. Spaces are limited. For more information email [email protected] or call 085 2550344.
