Cillian Murphy Narrated 'The Irish Revolution' Airs Next Week
Part one of 'The Irish Revolution' documentary will air on RTÉ One on February 4.
RTÉ's The Irish Revolution, a three-part documentary series, will begin to air on February 4 at 9:35 p.m.
The Irish Revolution is based off of the award winning book Atlas of The Irish Revolution, comprehensively examined different aspects of revolutionary Ireland in its 1,000 pages. Part one of the series is narrated by Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders, Inception), who helped portray the era with his performance in 2006's The Wind that Shakes the Barley.
The documentary feature's contributors from Atlas of The Irish Revolution and takes a detailed and multifaceted approach to tell the story of Ireland's fight for independence through never-before-seen footage and interviews with over 20 academics who have studied the subject.
