Actress and Stuntwoman Cassandra Ebner Talks Her Two Upcoming Shows in New Hot Press
A stuntwoman for many years, Cassandra Ebner got her break on camera playing one of the Children of the Forrest on smash hit HBO series Game of Thrones. She recounts to Hot Press’s Ed Power about the experience.
“I had to wear full body prosthetics. We were outside, and it was cold. But the crew were amazing, and the white walkers were terrifying. The prosthetics are incredible,” says the actress.
That appearance along with a larger one on CW show Arrow added to her huge international following, one accumulated from being a blockbusting YouTube blogger.
“I grew up playing video games with my dad and uncle. I was very much an internet kid. I saw how inspired people were by new technology. It’s what led me to where I am now,” says the performer.
In the midst of recovering from a work injury on her ankle, Ebner wrote and will star in comedy web show Life XP set to drop in 2019. Before then, she will also have a leading role in kick-ass superhero adventure series Demon X. “I’m trying to make things I enjoy, things I would watch.”
