Tim Booth
Tim Booth has been – and sometimes still is – a painter, designer, musician, writer and film maker. These days he lives out on the world’s rim in the depths of Kerry, where he paints, illustrates (he draws ‘50s comic hero Dan Dare for a UK magazine), writes short stories, (he shortlisted last year for the prestigious Bridport Prize) and plays occasional guitar in cult psychedelic lounge act Dr. Strangely Strange. He also designed the original logos for both Hot Press and Thin Lizzy, as well creating illustrations for Phil Lynott’s books of lyrics. In all, his connections with the Irish music scene are positively labyrinthine.
