The U2360° Tour has cleaned up in Vegas.
U2 are among the big winners at this year’s TEC (Technical Excellence & Creativity) Awards in Los Angeles, the concert industry’s equivalent of the Grammys.
The U2360° Tour picked up the 2010 Tour Sound Production gong; Joe O’Herlihy won in the Front Of House Sound Engineer category; and U2 crew members Alastair McMillan, David Skaff, Richard Rainey and Niall Slevin were adjudged to be the best Monitor Engineers.
U2360° Tour partners Clair completed the winning spree by being declared best Sound Company.
“It's a fantastic accolade at the beginning of the year,” Joe O’Herlihy tells u2.com. “These are the awards made by your peers in the industry and they recognise outstanding creative achievement so it's pretty special for us to win."
