The Saw Doctors receive Imro award
The success of the legendary band's latest album is recognised
The Saw Doctors have today been presented with an award by The Irish Music Rights Organisation (Imro). It is in recognition of their Irish Independent No. 1 Album, The Further Adventures Of The Saw Doctors. Their eight studio album The Further Adventures Of... went straight in at No.1 on the Indie Charts the week of its release. After nearly a quarter of a century in the business, they debuted at the top of the Indie Chart and earned a No. 7 spot on the mainstream Irish Album Chart.
The album was officially launched by none other than Peter Kay at a gig at The Olympia Theatre last week. The comedian is apparently a massive fan of the Tuam band.
