The Frames to headline Limerick festival
The Frames join Mundy and Niall Quinn & The Pennywhores for a day of live open air music at King John's Castle, Limerick
Expect a mass migration of Frames fans to Limerick on May 3 as Glen Hansard & Co. bring Riverfest 2004 to a close at King John's Castle.
Also on the open air bill are Mundy and Niall Quinn & The Pennywhores. If you're not au fait with young Mr. Quinn, he's the chappie who formed The Cranberry Saw Us, helped bring in Dolores when he left and then had to watch as they abbreviated their name and went on to international fame and fortune.
"It's our first show in the castle and we're delighted it's with The Frames," says the man from Eightball Promotions. "It's a fantastic venue and we've always wanted to put on an event of this level there. We've been fans of The Frames forever as well, so it couldn't have worked out better. Hopefully it'll help bring an influx of people into the city and show off the real Limerick."
Tickets priced €30 are on sale now.
