The insomniacs at HMV Grafton St do another midnight-opener - on Sunday, November 3rd - for the release of U2's Best Of 1990-2000
Still wiping the sleep from their eyes following a sterling overtime effort on behalf of David Gray last week, the good peeps at HMV Grafton St will be opening their doors at midnight on Sunday November 3 so that fans here can be among the first to buy U2's new album.
The LP, The Best Of 1990 – 2000, includes many favourites from the decade including 'Even Better Than The Real Thing', 'One', 'Mysterious Ways', 'Beautiful Day', 'The Fly' and 'Discotheque'.
Although the rumours that Bono and co will be making a guest appearance have been pronounced unlikely by those in the know, queueing fans will be glad, nay, delighted at the news that the famous U2 Big Heads will be out in force to entertain the troops.
Amusingly however, it seems the use of "the Bono head" requires a bit of special forethought.

"We have to arrange suitable security for the Bono head," said an HMV source preparing for the event, "because apparently, as I was told, 'people tend to want to go up and kick him, and hit him'....!! Just Bono though... not the others!"
As if you needed additional incentive to get in early, a limited number of copies of The Best Of 1990-2000 come complete with a B Sides bonus disc. See all your heads there...
