The last twelve months feel like they've been nothing but Bieber. From reinventing his image of a babyfaced pop singer to a becoming a Timberlake-esque R & B artist with hits like "What Do You Mean?" and "Sorry", to monopolising the top three places in the Irish charts back in January, the Canadian singer's presence has been felt everywhere.
Now comes the news that the Bieber has smashed no less than eight world records thanks to the success of his second studio album, Purpose .
He now hold the new records for Most simultaneous tracks on the US singles chart, First act to occupy all top three positions simultaneously on UK singles chart, and Most viewed music channel on YouTube, amongst others awards.

A team of Guinness World Records staff and an official adjudicator recently presented Justin with certificates celebrating his achievements before one of his sold-out shows on the Purpose World Tour at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
