Good Vibrations Wins Best Screenplay Award
Good Vibrations, the Terri Hooley biopic co-scripted by Hot Press' Colin Carberry and novelist Glen Patterson, won The Allianz Award for best screenplay at this year's Dinard British Film Festival.
The Northern Irish punk comedy, set in Belfast in the 70s during the height of the Troubles, stars Game of Thrones actor Richard Dormer as Terri Hooley - a radical, rebel, and music lover who took on not only the musical establishment but also the paramilitaries.
This is the second award Good Vibrations has picked up since its release, having received the Best Irish Feature Award at the Galway Film Fleadh earlier this year.
