Gary Lightbody to star in Game of Thrones

Gary Lightbody will star in the third season of HBO's award winning, medieval fantasy series Game of Thrones

After completing his cameo, he posted a picture of himself in his medieval costume on Facebook and wrote: "So I did my scene this morning for Game Of Thrones. I looked like this. Can't say much just it's no pivotal role. Fun!"

Game of Thrones is largely shot in Belfast and features a number of Irish actors including Liam Cunningham and Jack Gleeson.
