Exclusive Elbow album/DVD preview

Calling all Elbow fans: this is news you won’t want to miss.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 04 Aug 2005

The Mancunian ballad-makers will be treating their fans to a special screening of their forthcoming album/DVD Leaders Of The Free World in Dublin.

If that wasn’t special enough, the album will be introduced by Guy Garvey and Pete Turner, respectively the singer and bassist of the band. Oh yes.

The band’s third long player is to be released on both regular CD and DVD on 16 September. The DVD features visuals for all of the 11 tracks on the album.

A preceding single, 'Forget Myself', is released on 2 September.

Tickets for the preview event, taking place at 4 Dame Lane on Monday 15 August at 8pm are available by emailing michael@lakotarecords.com in advance. While they're expected to be snapped up like the proverbial hotcakes that they are, a limited number will also be available on the night.
