Kildare acts added to Oxegen bill

We’re delighted to announce that Kildare bands Awake Young Soldiers and Funzo have won the competition to grace the Hot Press/Academy Stage at Oxegen.
Now in its fourth year, the Platform V initiative has already provided the Lilywhite likes of Miracle Bell, Kill City Defectors and Seven Days the chance to strut their respective stuff in their own backyard.
As well as getting to play at Punchstown, the two acts also receive a three-day recording and mentoring session in Leixlip’s Platform4 studio.
