Listeners have until Sunday 13 December at midnight to vote for their three favourite songs or tracks of all time on RTÉ 2fm's website.
Now in its 29th year, Fanning’s Fab 50 is RTÉ 2fm's alternative music poll, mixing new acts with classic rock and indie tunes to give a guide to what people are really listening to out there.
Listeners can pick their three favourite songs at www.rte.ie/2fm. Voting has begun already and finishes up on Sunday 13 December at midnight.
Says radio personality Dave Fanning, "Check out the RTÉ 2fm website - even if your songs don’t make it, you will hear some top quality music and are in with a chance of winning over 20 superb albums. It’s simple, so just log on and vote for your three favourite tracks from the list."
Five lucky voters will win a selection of albums made up of Empire of the Sun, Walking on a Dream, Bat For Lashes, Two Suns, Depeche Mode, Sounds of the Universe, Tress Dream in Algebre, Hockey - Mind Chaos, Alice in Chains, Black Gives Way To Blue, Air, The Coronas, Tony was an Ex-Con, Florence and The Machine and more.
The website carries the list of the albums up for grabs as well as last year’s Fab 50 to let you know what fans voted for.
Fanning’s Fab 50 is back on Sunday 20 December on RTÉ 2fm from 7pm – 12 midnight.
