IMRO reveal new appointments
James Hickey and Bell X1 founder member Brian Crosby join the Board.
The Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) has confirmed the appointment of two new Directors to the Board of its copyright collection society.
They’re the renowned media and entertainment lawyer James Hickey who’s the partner in charge of the Media and Entertainment Law Group in Matheson Ormsby Prentice, and former Bell X1 man Brian Crosby who now focuses on music production and film scoring. He’s just finished working on Some Other Stories, a movie set in the former Yugoslavia, which premieres early in 2010.
They join music publishers Johnny Lappin and Steve Lindsey, and songwriters Christy Moore, Eleanor McEvoy and Donagh Long who’ve all been re-elected to the Board.
