The Maccabees accommodate football fans

The kind people at The Academy have announced that they will screen the UEFA Champions League Cup Final match between Manchester United and Barcelona just before The Maccabees go on stage on Wednesday, May 27.

Kick-off for the match is at 7.45pm and the ‘Toothpaste Kisses’ stars will take to the stage straight afterwards. Regardless of the result or even if the band fans aren't all football fans, the atmosphere created by this move is sure to bring a new energy-level to the Academy crowd this Wednesday.

Tickets are still available for the South London band’s show and cost €16 from the usual outlets.
