Julie Feeney releases new album
Ms. Feeney's new Pages LP is out this month, and we've got an exclusive look at the album artwork...
Choice Prize winner Julie Feeney unveils her new album, Pages on May 29.
As previously revealed on hotpress.com, the Galway native's second record (she won the inaugural Choice Music Prize for her debut 13 Songs) showcases her compositional skills as she enlists the help of a full orchestra to bring her music to life.
And Pages shows off much more of Julie's talent, as she also wrote, sang and produced the record herself. She even designed the artwork (pictured), basing it on a special hand-stitched dress made from the pages of the album's musical score.
The album is preceded by lead single 'Love Is A Tricky Thing', out May 22. A nationwide tour is also in the works, with Julie planning to hit the road with an eight-piece orchestra.
Stay tuned to hotpress.com for gig info, when we get it you'll be the first to know!
