Director return with new album
It's called I'll Wait For Sound, and apparently it's ace!
Director return to the fray on May 1 with the release through their own Crapshoot Economics label of new single ‘Sing It Without A Tune’. Following it a week later is I’ll Wait For Sound, the long overdue follow-up to their number two We Thrive On Big Cities album. It was produced in L.A., darling, by Brad Wood (Smashing Pumpkins, Placebo, Liz Phair) and mixed by Barby Bernicott (Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdiand, Kasabian).
They’ve also confirmed visits to The Pumphouse, Kilkenny (April 18); Breakers, Portlaoise (May 3); Button Factory, Dublin (22); and Cyprus Avenue, Cork (23).
All that remains to be said is welcome back gentlemen!
