Grand Pocket Orchestra to release new EP
Dublin fourpiece Grand Pocket Orchestra have announced details of their new EP ahead of their Hard Working Class Heroes appearance this weekend.
We loved their Odd Socks debut, and now quirky indie pop quartet Grand Pocket Orchestra are back with a 2nd EP, titled Make Happy War.
The EP will will be released on October 3, with a tracklist featuring live favourite 'Ballet Shoes' along with 'Using The Body', 'Down With The Label Man' and 'Bite The Head Off Italy'.
The band will play an instore in Tower Records on the 3rd to celebrate the release, with a supporting tour taking in the ZXZW Festival in Tilburg, Holland (September 20); Andrew's Lane, Dublin (with Gay Against You, Sept 25); and Popkomm, ZMF Berlin (October 9), with more dates to be confirmed in the coming days.
And if you're desperate to see the lads this month, they'll be at Hard Working Class Heroes this weekend. They play Andrew's Lane on the Saturday (Sept 13), at 8.15pm.
