U2 Red Rocks and Under A Blood Red Sky details emerge
U2's Live At Red Rocks DVD and the Under A Blood Red Sky album will now get the re-release treatment on September 26.
Originally the band's first concert video back in the days of VHS, the DVD was recorded live at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre on June 5 1983. The new edition will feature five previously unreleased songs, 5.1 surround sound, a director's commentary and digitally re-graded pictures.
Simultaneously, live CD Under A Blood Red Sky, compiled from three shows in Europe and America, will be released in remastered format. The CD and DVD will be available together in a 'deluxe' package or as individual discs. The live album can also be had on 180g vinyl.
While the CD's tracklisting remains unchanged, the Red Rocks running order now goes:
'Out Of Control', 'Twilight', 'An Cat Dubh', 'Into The Heart', 'Surrender', 'Two Hearts Beat As One', 'Seconds', 'Sunday Bloody Sunday', 'Cry', 'The Electric Co.', 'October', 'New Year’s Day', 'I Threw A Brick Through A Window', ''A Day Without Me', 'Gloria', 'Party Girl', '11 O’Clock Tick Tock', 'I Will Follow' and '40'.
