UPDATED: MGMT second Ambassador date yet to materialise
A second MGMT show in The Ambassador that was mooted to go on sale today has failed to materialise.
Hot Press understands that there’s still a possibility that Messrs. Golsdwasser and VanWygarden – is that not the coolest name in rock? – will be extending their Dublin stay. We’ll keep you posted.
If you were among the huge army of fans who couldn’t get into the Pet Sounds tent to see MGMT at Oxegen, fear not, because Messrs. Goldwasser and VanWyngarden are playing the Dublin Ambassador on November 3.
Just added to the bill are Canadian new wavers Violens, gaining momentum on the back of debut single 'Trance Like Turn'.
Adding to the Punchestown mayhem was an errant female punter’s decision to scale one of the tent’s lattice support towers. This triggered a spate of copycat climbing and security having to shut-down the gig for 20 minutes while order was restored.
