Electric Picnic tickets go on sale next Friday

Tickets for this year’s Electric Picnic festival go on sale at 9am on Friday March 28.
Weekend tickets – there are no individual day ones – cost €240 including camping, with the various sites opening at 9am on Friday August 29. Camper van access will cost €60.
Also available are family tickets permitting entrance for two adults plus four children aged 12 and under. Otherwise it’s strictly over 18s with photo ID required.
The line-up is being announced on Wednesday night and will definitely include My Bloody Valentine, legendary Krautrockers Faust and Tindersticks whose participation was confirmed to hotpress.com by lead singer Stuart Staples.
Confirmed too is the return for the fourth consecutive year of the Hot Press Chatroom, which will host exclusive public interviews with some of the weekend’s big names.
With Mani, Damien Dempsey, The Flaws, The Go! Team, Stephen Fretwell among those parting our flaps – matron! – in ’07, it promises to be quite a weekend.
