Led Zeppelin for Belfast?
Rumours are circulating of a planned Led Zeppelin concert in Belfast next year.
Music industry rumours suggest that Ormeau Park may be the location of choice and that local promoters have already started with the planning application process.
This would be the band's first appearance there since 1971, when they premiered 'Stairway To Heaven' at the Ulster Hall.
The band are also believed to be looking at the possibility of shows at Madison Square Garden, New York, and Wembley in London. Sales of their back catalogue have jumped a staggering 500% since their comeback show in London.
Guitarist Jimmy Page is believed to be keen to tour, but singer Robert Plant is said to be more reluctant, having already announced plans to tour with Alison Krauss to promote their Raising Sand collaboration in the new year.
