12 injured in bomb attack outside German music festival
A 27-year-old Syrian man kills himself in the attack in Ansbach
A Syrian man, denied asylum in Germany one year ago, has killed himself and injured 12 others in a bomb attack outside a music festival in the German town of Ansbach.
Three of those hurt are reported to be in a critical condition.
More than 2000 people were attending the festival in the small town in the south of the country. The attack occurred on the final night of the three-day event.
The fourth violent attack on the public in a week, which has seen 10 killed and 34 injured, illustrates a growing unrest in the nation, and will likely prompt calls for a review of Angela Merkel's controversial open-door policy for refugees.
