Sweet Jane tracks picked up by industry moguls
Good news ahead of their SXSW adventure with appearances on Skins and DJ Hero
Dublin rockers Sweet Jane have beaten off hundreds of international entries to have two tracks from their acclaimed debut album Sugar For My Soul chosen for two high-profile upcoming appearances.
'Warcry' will feature in a new iteration of the hugely popular DJ Hero mash-up game, while ‘Something From My Soul’ was chosen by MTV to appear in the smash-hit UK drama Skins.
As revealed by HP yesterday, the Dublin outfit’s debut album is also set for a full UK release in May, with current single 'Close Your Eyes’ having picked up top notch reviews across the board there.
And as if all that isn’t enough, the band have regaled us with tales of lovely weather and chilled out vibes as they prepare to play a mammoth 12 gigs in four days at the worlds biggest music festival SXSW in Texas. Nice work if you can get it!
