Channel 6’s Michelle Doherty is the major new addition to the line-up as Phantom 105.2 attempts to boost its ratings by rejigging its weekday morning and lunchtime schedule.
The station will launch its new revamped breakfast and morning schedule next Monday, July 28.
Doherty, who’s also a part-time model and air hostess, will anchor the 10am to noon Finest Worksongs show.
Elsewhere, Phantom stalwart Richie McCormack and former XFM South Wales presenter Charlotte Flood take over from previous incumbent Sinister Pete on the Pure Morning breakfast show, and Sinéad Ní Mhórdha, another of the Dublin rock station’s star performers, replaces former midday to noon man Neill Austin on the renamed Front Row.
