The new issue of Hot Press (published Thursday, February 14), marks a major leap forward in the history of the magazine.
From Thursday, Hot Press will be the first ever fortnightly magazine to appear in perfect-bound format on Irish – or UK – news stands.
The all-new Hot Press, which features surprise No.1 star Tom Baxter on the cover, will come in a new, distinctive, enhanced A4 magazine size, with top end production values and sparkling new design. A new Hot Press logo will also leap from the newsstands with even greater strength and impact.
“It’s been hugely exciting seeing the new look come together,” says Hot Press publishing director Duan Stokes. “It brings a completely fresh dimension to the magazine, with higher production values, superb photographic reproduction and a lot of brilliant additional features. The Hot Press team have done a really great job putting it all together. I think it’s going to cause a real flurry of excitement when it hits the newsstands.”
Launched in 1977, Hot Press is long established as one of Ireland’s most important publications delivering some of the biggest stories and making national and international headlines. The last issue of Hot Press, a special drugs issue, was the subject of considerable controversy and media coverage.
Now, with over 140 pages of music, fashion, travel, books, movies and much more, the new look magazine has everything.
