Snow Patrol bassist plays with Film School
Snow Patrol bassist Paul Wilson is just one of the guests on the new album by shoegazey Californians Film School.
Paul Wilson took time out from his usual bass duties with Snow Patrol to guest on Film School's new album, Hideout.
Former My Bloody Valentine drummer Colm O Ciosoig also plays on the new record by the San Francisco fivesome.
Due through Beggars Banquet in September, Hideout is described by mainman Krayg Burton as being “more lush and swirly and driving, maybe more experimental in tone as well, than the last record. To me it’s our sound and sentiment, but more fully realised.”
‘Lectric’, ‘Sick Hipster Nursed By Suicide Girl’ and ‘Blizzard Scout’ are just a few of the standouts on the collection, which is produced by Shins and Modest Mouse man Phil Ek.
