Gary Lightbody pens Pussycat Doll song
Snow Patrol's mainman has contributed a track on the solo album of Nicole Scherzinger, she of Pussycat Dolls fame.
Gary Lightbody, with no ulterior motives but of course, penned the track 'Just Say Yes' especially for her forthcoming album.
The pair were reunited at last week's Meteor Awards, when Ms Scherzinger and her band members presented Snow Patrol with one of their four awards that night.
She later said: "It’s just such an honour for me to sing anything written by him.
“I love Snow Patrol, I think we all do.”
Snow Patrol and Pussycat Dolls fans won't have to wait long to hear the track. The album's due for release in the next few months, with other collaborators named as Akon, Timbaland and Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas.
The Dolls are featured in the current issue of Hot Press, along with plenty of other Valentine's Day goodies.
