Acts from Louth, Meath and Monaghan are invited to apply
Vantastival are ringing the changes for this summer's spectacular, and have revealed that they're keeping it local this time round.
In a switch from the usual open submission format, they're specifically on the hunt for talent from Louth, Meath and Monaghan for this year's renewal. Musicians from all genres are welcome to throw their hat in the ring, though unfortunately DJs need not apply.
This year's party takes place in early June as opposed to early May, and it's setting up shop in the beautiful grounds of the 17th century Beaulieu House, just outside Drogheda.
Some of the most popular acts of the past six years of the festival will be taking their place on the bill too, and with capacity limited to just 1000 we reckon tickets will take on golddust-like value by the time summer rolls around.
If you want to beat the rush, weekend camping tickets for the June 3 & 4 event - priced at €75 - are now available from the festival website, [link]vantastival.com[/link].
