The Undertones set to release new single
It's for Record Store Day.
The Undertones celebrate Record Store Day 2013, AKA Saturday April 20, with the unleashing of their ‘Much Too Late’/‘When It Hurts I Count To Ten’ 7”.
Limited to 1,000 copies, it’s being released by Dublin’s Flaming June label, which is also home to Katie Kim, Nanu Nanu and Laura Sheeran in solo mode.
It was recorded in London’s defiantly analogue Toe Rag Studios where The White Stripes assembled Elephant.
The band, whose actorly doppelgangers feature prominently in Good Vibrations, kick off an extensive European tour on April 27, which includes two massive German dates opening for stadium-filling Teutonic punks Die Toten Hosen.
Meanwhile, another of the bands who pop up in the Terri Hooley biopic, The Outcasts, play Fibber Magee’s, Dublin on April 6 with Paranoid Visions. We strongly suspect that ‘Just Another Teenage Rebel’ will get an airing!
