The Strypes score Top 5 Album in The UK
Snapshot is in with a bullet at No. 5.
Having debuted at No. 2 at home, The Strypes continue their success across the Irish Sea as their first LP, Snapshot, enters the UK Album Chart at No. 5. Seems like those storming London shows and appearances on the likes of Jools Holland have paid off.
The Cavan lads will no doubt be in celebratory mood when they roll into Dublin later this week – they headline the Academy on Thursday September 19.
Elsewhere on the chart, Arctic Monkeys' AM takes the top spot at first time of asking. London Grammar's If You Wait is another new entry at No. 2, The 1975's self-titled album is at No.3 and Goldfrapp's Tales Of Us debuts at No. 4.
