With their new single 'All For One' over two decades in the making, fans have been giving their verdict online.
The Stone Roses have released new music for the first time since 1994. 'All For One' was released online at 8pm on Thursday, May 12th. Fans have been eagerly anticipating a release of new material since pictures of lemons began appearing on posters and billboards all over Manchester earlier this week.

The song was premiered on Annie Mac's BBC1 Radio show and the band's dedicated group of followers have been giving their two cents on it. While the majority of people are more than pleased with the new song, others feel it sounds a bit too much like Oasis "with worse lyrics".
I love The Stone Roses so much that this morning when I turned on All For One for the 164th time since it came out I started crying.

New Stone Roses sounds like bad Oasis but with worse lyrics.
(Regular followers will know I love early Oasis, just to be clear.)— Aidan John Moffat (@AidanJohnMoffat) May 12, 2016
Even celebrities such as UK television presenter Ant and Dec weighed in with their verdict. Other fans seem like they can't make up their minds.

More I listen to Love Spreads, more I think they've fallen short with All for One - but a dodgy #StoneRoses tune still beats most others
