The 75-year-old cartoon character and his loyal sidekick are coming to a theatre near you
Everyone's favourite childhood cartoon characters, Charlie Brown and Snoopy, are making it to the big screen in three-dimensional format.
The iconic animated figures have been around since the 1940s in both comic book and television series. Charlie Brown is regarded as a "loveable loser," who frequently is the subject of a series of unfortunate events, however, manages to transform these incidents into life lessons - and all with the help of his trusted canine Snoopy.
The new film encompasses the same fun-loving child character, along with more modern obstacles, but with the same courageous inspiration as ever before.
The Peanuts Movie is directed by Steve Martino, and will feature both Charlie Brown and Snoopy embarking on epic adventures against their arch enemies.
It will be released in Irish theatres December 21.
