Continuing a streak of outspoken activism post-Castile/Sterling shootings
Compton rapper The Game has called on all media publications, rappers, and urban radio stations to fight injustice in a recent Instagram post.
Though The Game keeps his post relatively vague, he seems particularly disturbed by urban poverty and police brutality.
He specifically calls out hip-hop publications such as XXL, The Source, and HotNewHipHop to step up for the communities that finance them.
The Game has been a tireless activist following the police shootings of Philando Castile and Alton Sterling. Among his efforts, he's led a march on Los Angeles Police Department headquarters and hosted an LA gang summit, both with California's Snoop Dogg; released an anti-violence video with the LA police chief; and raised over $50,000 for Arkansas cop and black community activist Tommy Norman.
