Republic Of Loose top the indie chart
Bounce At The Devil has had to fend off some stiff competition.
In what might be a first, this week’s Irish Independent Chart top five are all new entries. Top of the pile is Hot Press cover stars Republic Of Loose’s Bounce At The Devil (Fish Don’t Fear Nets). Tucked in behind them are Joseph O’Connor’s The Drivetime Diaries (RTÉ), Belle & Sebastian’s Write About Love (Rough Trade), Antony & The Johnsons’ Swanlights (Rough Trade) and Sufjan Stevens’ The Age Of Adz (Asthmatic Kitty). Dublin grassroots act Tupelo debut at No. 18 with debut Dirty Money.
