They've also got two 7"s on the way.
Beloved Brookyln indies Parquet Courts are plotting a flurry of activity over the coming months, including both releases and live dates.
August 11 finds them issuing a split 7" with Joey Pizza Slice (Joey tackles their 'Picture Of Health', they do his 'Pretty Girls') through Wharf Cat Records. Then on August 14, they release a live 7" with fellow Brooklynites Big Ups.
As for the live dates? Well, they're coming to Europe and Ireland figures big in their plans.
They play Roisin Dubh, Galway, on September 2.
That's followed by a show in Dolan's, Limerick, on September 3.
They then round things off in the Limelight 2, Belfast, on September 3.
As for tickets, well, don't forget you won't need them if you get a Parquet Courts tattoo.
AS the band have said:
"Got a Parquet Courts tattoo? What the hell were you thinking? In order to shelter your fragile soul from the sting of deep, venomous regret, Parquet Courts are going to allow you free entrance, for life, into any Parquet Courts show*. *Does not include side-projects, solo performances, weddings, open mic nights, "talks", etc."
