Legendary musician plans Dublin stop on Paradise Is There tour
Some 20 years after her debut album, Tigerlily, Natalie Merchant has made Paradise Is There: The New Tigerlily Recordings - and pencilled in a Dublin stop on the accompanying tour.
The new record is a collection of re-recorded versions of the tracks from her multi-platinum opening salvo, reflecting how the songs have matured and evolved over time. A film - the trailer for which you can check out below - looks at how they have impacted the career of the former 10000 Maniacs woman.
The tour is a short one - just nine dates are scheduled thus far - so we should all feel very grateful that Dublin has been included in the fun. The Olympia visit is planned for March 24; tickets, priced at €34.50, are on sale from Friday.
