The concert took place at the Aratani Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday
A special event in Los Angeles on Saturday saw an orchestra mash up Kanye West's 'Yeezus' album with the work of classical composer Beethoven.
The 'Yeethoven' concert took place at the Aratani Theatre, with the Young Musicians Foundation performing classical versions of Kanye tracks.
The Independent reports that arranger Stephen Feigenbaum compared the two artists by their use of form.

"The piece we just heard by Beethoven has this ending that’s really disjointed relative to the rest of the piece," he reportedly said. "It’s very chaotic most of the time and then at the end it’s suddenly very jubilant and almost ecstatic…it’s so over the top relative to what’s happened before it. And Kanye does the same thing with 'New Slaves'."
