Choice Music Award winner Julie Feeney has come a significant step closer to achieving world domination by signing a record deal with a major label.
After releasing her 9/10-earning album 13 Songs herself, the model-turned-singer has agreed a deal with Sony/BMG.
"I am delighted to sign this deal given the very high level of creative control and hands-on approach that it affords me," said Feeney. “Choosing to go in this direction has given me all of the creative opportunities I have been looking for."
The album, which won Feeney the Choice Music Award in its first year, will be released in the UK on October 2, accompanied by a nationwide tour and promotional schedule. Julie has already begun work on material for her follow up album due out in 2007.
