"Remarkable progress", says the legend's attorney.
Following Joni Mitchell's hospitalisation in April, there was worldwide concern over whether she would recover and unhelpful rumours regarding her health.
It has since become clear that the iconic singer-songwriter suffered a brain aneurysm but, thankfully, it would appear she's very much on the mend.
Rebbeca J Thyne, Mitchell's attorney, has now shared a heartening update on the 71-year-old.
Talking to People about visiting Joni at her home at the end of June, she says:
"When I arrived she was seated at her kitchen table feeding herself lunch. She also told me that she receives excellent care from caregivers round-the-clock. It was clear that she was happy to be home and that she has made remarkable progress. She has physical therapy each day and is expected to make a full recovery."
