Dublin’s rockerati will be out in force on January 26 when the Johnny Cash biopic, Walk The Line, receives its Irish charity premiere at Movies at Dundrum Town Centre.
While organisers are remaining tight-lipped about the celeb attendees, the fact that U2 aren’t gigging that night and collaborated with Cash on their Zooropa album might mean you’ll get to share your popcorn with someone very famous.
In the production notes for the film, Bono is quoted as saying: “Locusts and honey…not since John The Baptist has there been a voice like that crying in the wilderness.”
As previously reported on hotpress.com, proceeds from the screening go to the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre who have tickets priced €75 available from 70 Lower Leeson Street, Dublin 2 or (01) 661 4911.
