A fresh host of names added to Kilmainham event.
Forbidden Fruit has announced a further raft of acts for the June Bank Holiday weekend festival.
Dance heavyweights Groove Armada, acclaimed duo Mount Kimbie, techno star Richie Hawtin, hotly tipped singer Kelela, leading lights of house Waze & Odyssey, underground pioneers Damian Lazarus, London trio Disciples and our own Booka Brass Band will all now play.
The festival which runs May 29 – 31 already features artists of the calibre of Fatboy Slim, Wu-Tang Clan, Joey Bada$$, Mr. Scruff and Earl Sweatshirt, in what is an increasingly powerful line-up.
The festival will feature over 70 acts across five stages (variously titled the Original Stage, Undergrowth, Lighthouse, Someplace Else and The Workshop), offering a wide selection of different styles of music.
Other new additions to this year’s festival include The Workshop Stage (new band stage), a new Odessa Vodka cocktail bar, and the Glastonbury favourite, The Inflatable Church Collective. The festival will also feature the familiar Bulmer’s Lounge.
Weekend tickets for the event are priced at €99.50 and are on sale now.
